'Ball Four' was funny. I'll never forget the MLB umpire allowing the catcher to make the ball-strike calls during a game.

Lewis Grizzard wrote some very funny articles and was pro-UGA. Wish he was still around.

Nolan Ryan is my all-time favorite MLB player. Tough, durable, and possessor of a nasty fastball and curve. While I loved watching him throughout his career, it was fun watching the Houston Astros when they had J.R. Richard-Joe Niekro-Nolan Ryan pitching rotation. Two blazers w/ a knuckleballer mixed in between.

Not a Novel, but "Death of the WCW" was really good. I grew up watching 80s and 90s wrestling so it was an interesting read.
